Cross Training Friday !~
G’devening RTRE blog reader,
Good night’s sleep last night. I was up at 3.30am, down for brekky # 1 and onto the motor bike to head up the highway to UPS. A busy shift at work and out of there at 9am for a little r& r at the local DD in Squan.
Home for on line coaching, writing schedules. Upon completion it was time for 250 pushups, 100 sit ups, 50 reverse crunches, new core routine and 100 back extensions, followed by,
“300” workout with 45lb bell…… I felt very good in the strength work tonight. Then I went to my club for the first time in a while and had a super relaxing 20 min pool run. The cool water felt really nice on my body and the time passed very quickly indeed. Great weather the past couple of days after high heat and humidity earlier in the week.
Looking forward to a TGIF relaxing family Friday night before what I hope is a good night’s sleep prior to returning to track in the morning for week 1 in my traditional ten weeks of 5 x 1 mile workout as I build up to the next impending marathon; in this case, the planned Marine Corps marathon in October.
Post track workout I look forward to coaching the Stingers group, before a little java at DD then heading to City Field with Luke and Sam and Steve and Dustin to see the Metsies play the Phillies….
Thanks for checkin’ in…
G’nite all, G’nite Dad, I love and miss you..
Let the good times roll !
Walk in Peace
